Main Beach Girl's Indoor Teams - 2010

• Blenders — 12 and Under Program

  Blenders is a no — cut volleyball program designed for players 12 years and Under. The blenders do not participate on our power league and travel teams, but are still part of a competitive volleyball team. The 12 and under players who participate in Blenders will receive individual instruction, develop their skills, and participate in organized competition. The purpose of Blenders is to teach young players the fundamental skills so they can play on a travel team in the future. Players in Blenders will be placed onto teams who will meet and train once a week and participate in tournaments organized by the Club. There may be some travel to surrounding areas for tournaments hosted by other local clubs.

• Travel Teams

  Players selected for a travel team will compete in the Northern California Volleyball Association (NCVA) tournaments and a post-season tournament. The NCVA is the Northern California affiliate of USA VOLLEYBALL, the national governing body for amateur volleyball. All tournament matches are played within the rules of USA Volleyball.

  The Club season goes from December through June. Travel Teams travel to and compete in at least one to two NCVA tournaments each month, approximately eight to ten tournaments over the course of the season depending on the age division. The 18U and 17U team will  also participate in the SCVA Las Vegas Invitational Tournament over President's Day weekend.

  Junior Olympic Qualifiers: The JUNIOR OLYMPICS is a national elite tournament which requires teams to qualify at a Qualifier tournament or through their Region to receive a bid. The venue changes from year to year. All teams will compete in Far Westerns. If teams are interested in competing in additional Qualifiers, that will be decided on a team by team basis. The cost is usually between $850 -$1000 depending on plane flights.

• The 2010 Junior Olympics location has not been announced.

Club Fees

Includes all NCVA and Special Tournament fees, uniforms and bags and hotels. Other items:
Coaching and Staff Salaries, Facility Use, Equipment, Administrative Items

Junior Olympics -  Not included in Fees below.
Hotel,airfare,car rental fees, food and coaches fees will be an additional fee. This is usually around $850-$1000 per player.

  (Includes all expenses for Las Vegas Invitational)             
• 16 U & 14U - $3800
• 13 U - $3300

Please note these fees are all inclusive including hotels for travel tournaments that are Sacramento and further. All teams will travel to the Junior Olympic qualifier in Los Angeles except the 13 and Under team.

These fees do not include the Junior Olympics for teams that qualify.
