3NEW FOR FALL 2010....in Aptos and SALINAS Too!!

Girls "MAD SKILLZ" Blenders Program begins September 11th! 

  •  Players of all ability levels are welcome!
  • This program is for all girls in 5th - 8th grades with an interest in learning the game of volleyball.
  • By teaching the basic fundamentals in combination with team interaction, the goal is to develop each person's skills and give them a sound basis for success.

"We are excited to expand Blenders to include fall instruction for indoor and beach and to kickoff our new Boys Blenders Program.  Also, adding our Girls Blenders Program in Salinas will make things easier for the families coming from the Salinas/Monterey area.  Our goal is to provide a fun, low stress environment for young athletes interested in indoor and beach volleyball, as well as to give them the fundamentals needed to continue with Main Beach if they so chose.  All Blenders instruction is consistent with what is being taught through the advanced Main Beach age groups, but scaled to the Blenders level". 1What is included in the fall "MAD SKILLZ" Blenders program?

  • Fundamentally based instruction from certified Main Beach coaches.
  • Once a week practices.
  • In house scrimmages to learn the game and have fun learning! 
  • Main Beach Apparel
  • NCVA registration (for insurance purposes)

PRACTICES

Once a week at the following times and locations: 
  • Aptos - Saturdays from 9am - 11am at Cabrillo College.
  • Salinas - Saturdays from 8am - 10am (Salinas HS/North Salinas HS - exact location TBD)

2HOW TO SIGN UP

Fill out the necessary paperwork (attached at the bottom of this page) and return to Bill Cotton at the address listed below.

COST

The fee for this 8 week program is $250

You can mail registration paperwork and payment to Bill Cotton at the address listed above or bring everything to the first practice on September 11th.  Either way, please call or email to reserve your spot prior to September 11.
