About Us

Main Beach Volleyball Club (MBVBC) was formed by Jan Furman and Gayle Stammer in Santa Cruz County in 2002 with a purpose to provide a competitive junior volleyball program for local female athletes. MBVBC is a California non-profit corporation overseen by a seven member board from local community who meet monthly.

     The Main Beach Girls program will be celebrating it's 10th year this upcoming season.  Keep watching the website posts for fall clinics and tryout dates.  I am very proud of our teams this past season.  Our 17's, 16's, and 15's all finished in the Gold division of power league.  Our 18's finished in the silver division and our 14's finished in the Aqua division.  We are looking forward to the 2012 season!
